3 down, 2 more to go

Today is the first day of school after the June holidays and also is the start of the one-week Mid Year Examinations. (what a great way to start the new school term *shrugs) Finished both my Biology and Mathematics paper, leaving with only 2 more subjects: Chemistry and Chinese.

Today is also the official start of school term for the poly students.

To all my friends studying in the polys: Miss you guys! Study hard and make tonnes of new friends k?!

(last night)
Slept only after tossing and turning on bed for about 20 minutes. Feeling anxious for the exams I guess. Was doing some last minute revision for trigonometry (it still bugs me why the Math department do not want to include the formula list with the paper). Slept at about 2a.m.

(this morning)
Woke up after my brother slapped me on my thigh. The clock read 5.50 a.m. Left home for school at 6.30 a.m. Mood then, anxious (for Math).

It was only a short one-month school break but I felt so distant to my classmates. They look ‘new’. The Bio paper started at 8 a.m. and my examination venue is in class E1-6. I thought 2 hr 30 min for a Bio paper would be unnecessary but I was wrong! I did not have enough time to complete the paper. (I did try to change my writing speed but…err…) The paper ended at 10.30 a.m. and I had a 2 hr 30 min break before the start of the Math paper so I did some revision in the canteen while waiting.

The Math paper started at 1 p.m. and was held in the hall. Sad to say but I still could not memorize some of the many formulae by the time the exam started. After that miserable 2 hr paper, I felt…liberated! I handed up my script with almost half of the questions undone! The total mark of the questions tempted (assuming that I get them all correct) is 38/100! I feel rather excited though. (keeping my fingers crossed: I really do not want to have a meet-the-parent session with Miss Lai) Been telling many people around me

Reached home at 4.30 p.m. Currently typing this new entry for my blog.

After dinner will be me mugging again, for Chemistry that is. After tomorrow, I will start to rule this world with ‘hiao-ism’ again.
